Flood gutters for swimming pools

Finnish gutter

The main features are the skewed plane, which rises from the pelvic wall to the orbit, and the grooved handle plate with safety marking. The water runs up like a beach, and the water level quickly calms down.

Advantages of this system: water level at or above level of the pool bypass. This provides an excellent overview and no odour nuisance caused by chlorine. Cleaning the drain gutter from the handling.

Zurich gutter

The flood edge here is a basin edge stone with a direct connection or an overflow channel behind it.

Advantages of this system: water level at or above level of the pool bypass. This provides an excellent overview and no odour nuisance caused by chlorine. Cleaning the drain gutter from the handling.

High-lying Wiesbaden gutter

Typical characteristic is the flood gutter, whose bead is a flood edge and handle in one. Water level also here at or above level of the pool bypass. So the overview is excellent and there is no chlorine bell.

Advantages of this system: pool edge with good holding possibilities for the floats, cleaning of the drain gutter from the handling, handling from the edge usable.

Low-lying Wiesbaden gutter

This system consists of an internal overflow channel, which is located about 0.30 m below the pool bypass. As a result, the water level is lower.

Advantages of this system: Good shaft refraction due to slantplate, good holding possibilities at the gutters, clearly visible markings and good mounting possibilities of separating and floating ropes.

Savings

in the case of earth excavation and concrete work,

because the basin can be up to approx 30 cm lower at the same water depth than with a so-called low-lying water level with a gutter that lies inside the basin.
